Restart takes part in MECSPE 2021

The 19th edition of MECSPE, the trade fair dedicated to manufacturing and Industry 4.0, organized by Senaf, has concluded, reaffirming itself as a national and international reference point for industrial innovation. For the first time at BolognaFiere from November 23rd to 25th, 2021, MECSPE once again recorded significant numbers: 48,562 professionals visited the 13 thematic halls and the stands of the 2,024 participating companies (a figure that places MECSPE among the top European trade fairs in terms of exhibitors in 2021), spread over 92,000 square meters of exhibition space, confirming the industry’s eagerness to return to in-person meetings.

At the heart of the manufacturing fair was industrial innovation, manifested across all thematic areas of greatest interest for the future: digitalization, sustainability, and education.

Restart also participated in this year’s edition as an exhibitor, with a booth in pavilion 16, showcasing this year’s big news: Hydra90. The semi-automatic centering machine made by Restart attracted the attention of hundreds of professionals and confirmed the trade fair’s role as an important platform for networking and exchange among professionals, generating significant synergies between visitors and exhibitors.

The presence at the fair was supported by partners from FRB Tecnologie, who worked with us on the bold project of Hydra90 and proved to be valuable colleagues and excellent booth neighbors.

MECSPE will return with its 20th edition, scheduled from June 9th to 11th, once again at BolognaFiere. The edition will focus on themes of technological innovation and corporate culture as keys to the growth of manufacturing in the Industry 4.0 perspective, with new proposals and special initiatives on the latest technologies that will be showcased in the thematic halls. Furthermore, as confirmed by the MECSPE Observatory for the 2nd quarter of 2021, manufacturing companies are increasingly looking abroad, particularly to Europe. Therefore, internationalization will be a topic for future exploration, as MECSPE pays ever closer attention to the evolution of the supply chain.
